Mission of the Salk/MacArthur PTSA
The mission of the Salk/MacArthur PTSA is to support and speak on behalf of the children, parents and youth in the schools, community, and before governmental bodies and organizations that make decisions affecting children.
We are here to advocate for you. We are here to advocate for your children. We participate in year round training courses and workshops in order to bring you the most up to date information on topics such as educational issues, social/emotional issues, and environmental issues.
A portion of your membership dues allow us to enrich our students through programs such as cultural arts, which include assemblies and guest speakers throughout the school year.
We would like to invite you to get involved! Please join us for our monthly meetings which are held in the Salk Little Theater each month at 7:30 p.m., specific dates can be found on the school calendar. We have many exciting committees that are open for you to join year round. Volunteering just an "hour of power" can make a big impact for the children in our community!
Thank you in advance for your support, we look forward to meeting you!
(Please take a moment to fill out our membership form and send it in today, thank you!)
