November was an exciting month for Mrs. Schadt's and Mrs. Lawler's second grade class. We kicked off the month by shopping at the Mustang Market using well-earned Mustang dollars. The students also learned about the voting process by using cookies! Next, the students were very excited to trace their hands and make turkey pot holders for Thanksgiving. We also read the book, "Balloons over Broadway" by Melissa Sweet. The students then did a STEAM Activity making balloons for a parade. In the month of November, our students learned so much while having fun doing it!
