MacArthur Science Research Student Presents Research at Stony Brook University

December 18, 2024

On Wednesday, October 16, Melody Hong visited The Louis and Beatrice Laufer Center for Physical & Quantitative Biology at Stony Brook University to present her research to her mentor Dr. Gabor Balazsi's lab group, followed by a tour of the facilities. Melody's project focused on comparing metastatic gene co-expressions between bulk and single-cell triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) RNA-sequencing data in order to provide a comprehensive assessment on the empirical relationships between genes key to TNBC's invasiveness.
