In September at Gardiners Avenue, students eagerly embraced the new Career Exploration Class where they learned about various career clusters, including jobs like boat captain, video game developer, principal, and shoemaker. Younger grades enjoyed the story "Clothesline Clues to Jobs People Do" and guessed jobs based on items on a clothesline. Our older grades read and discussed the story, "Someone Builds the Dream", exploring different roles like manager and graphic designer, and will fill out job applications for positions that interest them. Overall, everyone is thrilled to engage with this exciting new curriculum!
