Mrs. Liontonia and Mrs. Maguire's third-grade class took a trip to the Outdoor Learning Center! Students learned about how the pH of the soil affects hydrangea coloring. The class then spent some time in the greenhouse and learned all about the lemon and avocado trees growing inside. Finally, the class got to spend time around the pond. They were amazed to see how big the koi fish were! Students even got to see a mother duck keeping her nest and eggs safe! It was a great day!
