The fifth-grade students in Ms. Corron's class applied what they learned about gravity from the Science Dimensions unit titled, "Systems in Space", to create models of parachutes. As a culminating activity to study gravity, each student designed, constructed, and tested several models of parachutes that he/she created. Finally, all students presented their creations to the class and set them afloat in the classroom.
