Mrs. Suriano's first-grade class had the opportunity to participate in a live event by Storylive to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the children's book No, David! by David Shannon. The students were so excited to hear the author read the story himself and tell his story of how he began his career as an author/illustrator. The class also participated in an author-directed drawing of David and a live Q&A with one of our class comments being read! As a class, they have been exploring more of David Shannon's books (over 40!) in anticipation of a new one coming out next year!
