MacArthur Guidance Department
High school counselors play a vital role in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development. They provide guidance on course selection, college and career planning, and help students navigate the challenges of adolescence. Counselors also address issues such as bullying, mental health concerns, and personal crises, offering a safe space for students to talk about their feelings and experiences. By collaborating with teachers, parents, and community resources, they create a supportive environment that fosters student success and well-being, ensuring that each student is equipped to thrive both in school and beyond.
