To recognize individuals who have distinguished themselves by their contributions in their field of work, study or athletics.
Want to Nominate A Levittown Alumni?
- Nomination can be made by using the Alumni Hall Of Fame Nomination Form.
- Nomination forms will be made available on or before January 1st of each year. Once a person is nominated they will remain in consideration for three years if not immediately selected.
Criteria
A nominee must have graduated from either Division Avenue High School, Levittown Memorial High School, or General Douglas MacArthur High School a minimum of 10 years prior to nomination. Current employees are excluded.

2018 Inductees
Sal Carrillo
MacArthurSal Carrillo is the owner of Sal's Place on Hicksville Road. Mr. Carrillo has donated thousands of dollars to the Levittown School District, working with district social workers to support a variety of community service projects. Mr. Carrillo holds an annual "Tips for Toys" program in his establishment to provide gifts for families in need.
Dennis Dunne
Division AvenueDennis Dunne, Sr. was the first elected representative of the 15th Legislative district in the Nassau County Legislature. The 15th District encompasses the communities of Levittown, Westbury and portions of East Meadow, Bethpage, Wantagh and Seaford. Legislator Dunne was re-elected in 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013 and again in 2015.Legislator Dunne serves as President of the Levittown/Island Trees Veterans Council and is President of the Marine Corps Coordinating Council. He is a member of the American Legion, V.F.W., the Disabled American Veterans, the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Lions Club, the Knights of Columbus, the Kiwanis Club and the Levittown Chamber of Commerce. Legislator Dunne is the former Chair of the Nassau County Executive's Veterans Advisory Committee. He served as Co-Chair for the 40th and 50th Anniversaries of Levittown. He recently was appointed to take the seat vacated by Gary Hudes on the Town of Hempstead board.
David Falk
MacArthurDavid Falk is the Chairman and CEO of SFX Sports Group. Known as the "Super-Agent", David Falk was the premier sports agent in the nation for negotiating professional athlete's contracts. He negotiated the highest contract in NBA league history for Patrick Ewing of the New York Knicks, and his top client was basketball legend Michael Jordan. David put together a ground breaking deal for Jordan with Nike, and in the process, helped coin the world-renowned phrase "Air Jordan". David also served as Executive Producer of several blockbuster films including Space Jam (Starring Michael Jordan), and On Hallowed Ground. In April of 2008, David and his wife Rhonda established the "David B. Falk Center for Sports Management" at Syracuse University.
Thomas Feinman
Division AvenueThe Honorable Thomas Feinman is currently a Justice of the Supreme Court of New York as well as an adjunct professor at Hofstra University in the Department of Accounting, Taxation and Legal Studies. After graduating from Hofstra University Law School in 1975, he worked in the office of the Nassau County District Attorney and then private law firms until 1998 when he was elected as a justice to the Nassau County District Court. After serving six years in the Nassau County courts, he was elected as a justice to the Supreme Court of New York in 2004.
Ellie Greenwich
Levittown MemorialEllie Greenwich was an award winning song writer of the 60's, 70's and 80's. She wrote "Be My Baby", "I Can Hear Music", "Do Wah Diddy Diddy", "Da Doo Ron Ron", "River Deep, Mountain High" among others. She was also a vocal arranger and backup singer on Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun"

Kevin McKinney
Levittown MemorialKevin McKinney joined the Levittown Fire Department in 1972 where he was an active member for 6 years. He was an EMT and AMT with the fire department. Kevin was killed in the line of duty at the age of 25 serving the Levittown Community.
Kate Murray
Levittown MemorialKate Murray was the first woman and first Levittowner to be elected to the New York State Assembly in 1998. She served as Clerk for the Town of Hempstead and was elected as the first woman supervisor of the Town of Hempstead in 2003.
Sue Petersen Lubow
MacArthurSue Petersen Lubow was the first female to become an athletic director at any US Federal Service Academies across the nation. She was Athletic Director at the US Merchant Marine Academy for 25 years. Ms. Lubow was secretary and rules editor for NCAA Division I, II and III Swimming and Diving Committee. She was head manager for the 1998 USA Swimming Championships, traveling with the US team to Australia. She coached 48 All-American male and female swimmers and divers including both a men's and women's NCAA Division III National Champion.
Doug Robins
Levittown MemorialDoug Robins was a Physical Education teacher and DAHS Baseball coach for 30 seasons. Under his leadership the baseball program won 654 games overall, two Class B state titles, five Long Island Titles, 9 Nassau County Titles and 24 League Championships. Sixteen of his players become professional baseball players and 19 others are now coaches at the high school or collegiate level. He was recently inducted into the Nassau County High School Athletics Hall of Fame
John Theissen
MacArthurIn 1992, John Theissen founded JTCF, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization. In 1992, he started a simple toy drive to help children during the holidays. By 1998, the foundation had a budget of just over one hundred thousand dollars. In 2014 his organization had a budget of 1.9 million dollars. in 2014 , he started a side business, JTCF Consulting, where he helps other large and small non-profits run events, prepare budgets and work with them on compliance issues. He also works with professional athletes and celebrities, helping them raise funds for their selected charities. His Foundation has won Best Charity on Long Island for the past 6 years straight and have a 5 star rating with the IRS.
