Ms. Vitacco's 5th Grade Career Exploration class had a special hands-on learning experience with Ms. Cirrone as they worked together to introduce students to the world of hydroponic gardening! Ms. Vitacco and Ms. Cirrone guided the students through how a hydroponic plant tower works and demonstrated how to plant and care for the crops. Together, the students planted arugula, basil, bib lettuce, rainbow chard, kale, and gourmet lettuce. We are excited to watch our plants grow and look forward to harvesting our fresh vegetables in just a few weeks!
