On September 17, students from Division Avenue High School had the opportunity to attend Career Jam at Nassau Community College. The event provided students with an engaging opportunity to explore a variety of career pathways and connect with local businesses, organizations, and professionals. Students learned about internships, apprenticeships, employment opportunities, and different career options available to them after high school. Through hands-on activities and conversations with industry representatives, students gained valuable insight into the skills and experiences needed to pursue their future goals. Career Jam was an informative and meaningful experience that encouraged students to begin thinking about their next steps beyond high school.
