Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program Application Information for the 2026-2027 School Year
January 05, 2026
UPK Resources
The Universal Pre-K Program (UPK) is a full-day program. It will begin in September 2026 and will mostly follow the Levittown School District calendar for 180 days. The district expects to have about 300 full-day seats at our UPK provider.
Families who live in the Levittown School District and have a child who will be four years old on or before December 1, 2026 may complete the Universal Pre-K (UPK) Interest Form for the 2026-2027 school year.
Application Process
- Because space is limited, students will be chosen through a random lottery. A waiting list will be created for families if a seat becomes available later.
- If you are interested, please fill out the UPK Interest Form. Please complete all required information on the form.
Important Notes
- Please submit one form per family. If more than one form is submitted, your lottery entry may be affected.
- Families with twins or multiples: Please submit one form for each child.
- You will receive a confirmation email after you submit the form. The email will also include information about the date of the virtual lottery drawing.
- If your child is selected through the lottery, you will receive an email with a link to complete online registration.
- If your child is placed on the waiting list, you will receive an email with your child's waiting list number. If a seat becomes available, you will be notified by email.
Funding Contingency
The UPK program is funded by a New York State Education Department grant. All placements depend on the continued approval of this grant.
