MacArthur Students Attend SAAWA Senior Science Fair
MacArthur High School Science Research students, with their teachers Mr. Zausin and Dr. Friedman, took part in the SAAWA Senior Science Fair at Merrick Golf Course on December 4th. The event, hosted by the South Asian American Women's Alliance (SAAWA), provides a vital platform for young scientists. SAAWA is a non-profit organization committed to encouraging and promoting leadership and innovation among students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields.
The students presented their research projects to a panel judges, showcasing their innovative approaches and commitment to scientific inquiry. Their participation highlights MacArthur High School's strong focus on developing the next generation of researchers and innovators.
