Magic Reveals Important Lessons At Summit Lane
Summit Lane students were a part of magician Brian Richards's assembly for Red Ribbon Week on Oct. 27.
Students at Summit Lane School in the Levittown School District took part in an exciting and interactive assembly led by a magician as part of Red Ribbon Week from Oct. 27-31.
Magician Brian Richards treated students to a dynamic mix of magic, comedy, storytelling and audience participation, all centered around important character-building values such as trustworthiness, caring, responsibility, fairness, respect and citizenship. Mr. Richards's powerful message encouraged students to remember that greatness begins with character and that having the courage to do the right thing is the foundation of true success. Along the way, he also discussed key topics like bullying prevention, inclusivity and empathy, keeping the energy high and the lessons meaningful. The students had a wonderful time learning, laughing, and participating in this motivational experience, which perfectly reinforced Summit Lane's commitment to fostering kindness, respect, and good character in every student.
Students in the audience were encouraged to participate.
Laughs were had as students were the center of magic tricks.
