Mrs. Carpentier and Ms. Mele's kindergartners have been learning all about the life cycle of an apple and the different parts of an apple. The students put their tastebuds to the test and sampled some apples! This hands-on activity combined science and math as the students explored apples while practicing their counting and graphing skills. The kindergartners sampled Red Delicious, Granny Smith, and Honeycrisp apples. After tasting all three, the students then graphed their favorite. The results are in...
