Hundreds of students across 10 buildings in the Levittown School District returned for the first day of a new year on Sept. 1, ready to take on challenges and new adventures.

Returning students reconnected with friends and teachers as they settled into new routines, found their assigned desks and unpacked their school materials. From the excitement of elementary classrooms to the energy of middle and high school hallways, the first day brought a renewed sense of community to schools throughout the district. Teachers and staff welcomed students back and set the stage for a successful year of learning and growth.

"There is nothing quite like the energy and anticipation of the first day," said Superintendent of Schools Todd Winch, "and we are looking forward to all the learning, accomplishments and memorable moments that this year will bring."
