December was full of fun at Gardiners Avenue Elementary School! Kindergarten students enjoyed reading The Gingerbread Baby by Jan Brett and worked with a guest designer to create gingerbread houses that would keep the Gingerbread Baby safe during a STEAM activity. Using a variety of materials, students and family members collaborated to build creative and unique designs. Kindergarteners also visited the Genres Pop-up Book Caf? to explore different types of books, shopped at the Holiday Boutique for gifts, and worked with technologist Brittany Cirrone on Code.org. Students in Mrs. Bergersen's and Ms. Maney's classes proudly completed Course A. It was a festive and exciting month for all!
