The fourth graders learned about different Native American instruments in this musical assembly. The students sang along with traditional Native American songs, and listened to music played by various instruments. They heard instruments that sounded like bird calls, and others that sounded like rain. Directions were given on how to make rain sticks at home. Students learned how some of the instruments were made. They even saw instruments made from the bones of animals! Everyone had a great time listening to and learning about the sounds of Native American culture.
