MacArthur SciOly Marches Into The 2025-2026 Season
The MacArthur High School Science Olympiad team participated in its 1st invitational competition of the season (Rickards SciOly) on Saturday November 8th. The event brought together dozens of teams from across the nation to compete in rigorous STEM-based challenges ranging from biology and chemistry to engineering and physics. MacArthur students showcased their problem-solving skills, teamwork, and passion for science throughout the day-long competition.
For many of the team members, this invitational marked their first experience competing at the high school level, offering valuable opportunities to test their knowledge, learn from peers, and prepare for upcoming regional tournament. The MacArthur Science Olympiad coaches, Dr. Friedman and Mr. Zausin, praised the students for their hard work and dedication, noting that the experience laid a strong foundation for future success. The team looks forward to building on this momentum as they continue their season of fun and learning.
