Members of MacArthur's Environmental Club took part in the Town of Hempstead's Lido Beach Clean-up on Saturday, September 21st. The students collected trash, tallied their collection and helped make the Town Park a cleaner place. Approximately 20 pounds of garbage was collected. It was a beautiful day for MacArthur students to do a beautiful thing and give back to their community while also preserving the natural environment.
