A First Day Of Fun For Levittown Students
Lee Road Elementary School kindergarteners in Mrs. Carione and Ms. Piccione's class were excited to usher in the new school year on Sept. 5.
The first day of school was a success for students in the Levittown Public School District as they returned to their respective buildings on Sept. 5 ready to take on the year ahead.
The beaming sun matched the bright faces of students who were prepared with all their necessary pencils, pens, notebooks and markers. At Lee Road Elementary School, the first day was marked in grand fashion with an inflatable dancing balloon and a sign touting "hooray for the first day" near the front entrance. It was an exciting sight for kindergarteners who made their first steps as students towards their teachers, who welcomed them to the classroom. At Summit Lane, students also got situated for the new year by organizing their supplies, learning each other's names and breaking the ice through games.
Ms. Musante's second grade class were quick to make friends.
