Students in Mr. Centonze and Mrs. Dunleavy's fifth grade class worked collaboratively to create three dimensional zoo animals. The students applied formulas to find volumes of right rectangular prisms. After finding the volumes of the rectangular prisms, the students constructed a zoo animal. Lastly, the group added creative and decorative touches to their zoo animal. The students loved this activity and were completely engaged throughout!
