Members of the National Honor Society at Division Avenue High School in the Levittown Public School District travelled to Summit Lane Elementary School to share lessons in economics on April 1.

After the seniors received training from the Junior Achievement High School Heroes Program, they spent the entire day teaching lessons on economics to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes. The trip was especially rewarding to several of the seniors who had attended Summit Lane as elementary school students.

One Summit Lane student was so impressed by their new Division teachers that she pledged to become a High School Hero when she eventually attends Division. The event was a great success and seniors will visit again next year.

Nathaly Delacruz and Katherine Castano were among the National Honor Society members who visited Summit Lane on April 1.
