Students in Mrs. Farley's 1st grade class learned all about the science behind snow. Students learned that snow is a form of precipitation that occurs when the temperature is below 32 degrees. In addition, students learned that snowflakes are symmetrical and have many different patterns. As a fun, culminating activity, students completed a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) project. Each student was given a variety of materials to construct their own snowflake. Look at some of our amazing creations!
