Division Avenue High School, 1984A live entertainment producer and theatrical promoter in NYC, Keith Hurd produced the Emmy-nominated TV series Broadway Profiles with Tamsen Fadal for five years, receiving six Emmy nominations.
Keith is president of Marketing Entertainment Group in New York City and is a producer/co-booker of concerts at The Green Room 42. An illustrious career working on Broadway marketing and promoting shows, most recently The Illusionists, Rock of Ages, Bat Out of Hell and Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark. Other Broadway productions include: The Producers, Liza Minnelli at the Palace, Billy Joel's Movin' Out, Fosse, Ragtime, Kiss Me Kate, Swing, Proof, Jackie Mason, Jekyll & Hyde, Noises Off, The Allergist's Wife, Edward Albee's The Goat, Take Me Out, Victor/Victoria with Julie Andrews, Damn Yankees with Jerry Lewis and Fuerza Bruta in Union Square.
He was also responsible for marketing the STAR WARS film concerts for the New York Philharmonic, The Lord of The Rings Trilogy Concerts at Lincoln Center and pianist Lang Lang at Carnegie Hall. Keith was producer/co-booker of concerts at Feinstein's at Loews Regency cabaret for four years.
Keith Hurd graduated from Binghamton University with a double major in music and French romance languages and literature and studied at La Sorbonne University Paris IV. He is a longtime supporter of Binghamton University and has hosted Broadway industry panels in NYC for students and is a Guest Lecturer teaching Business of Theater. Keith is a member of the Binghamton University Dean of Arts & Sciences Advocacy Council and a board member for the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center.
