Seven years ago Mr. Eagan approached the Division Avenue High School administration to propose the Dragon Pioneer Scholarship. Since then twelve students have been recognized for carving out a unique path in pursuit of their passions and achieving uncommon success as a result. The Scholarship is intended to honor two students who exemplify a pioneering spirit whether it be through creativity in the arts, commitments to academic achievement, or to community service or any combination of these.

These twelve individuals have been awarded a total of $240,000 in scholarships and have gone on to attend prestigious universities in pursue of their unique pathways. The Eagan Pioneer Scholarship is now one of the most sought after scholarships at Division Avenue High School as he continues his generosity along with his sister Ria Eagan.
