Northside Students Attend Assembly to "Make School Easier"
Northside School students were excited to attend a dynamic assembly program that guided them on "how to remember better and make school easier." It was called "Unlock your Amazing Memory." Invited by the PTA, Brad Zupp, a record-setting memory athlete, educated the children through explanation, demonstration, and entertainment about learning how to remember.
"Mr. Z" explained that remembering has three different steps: getting information, saving information, and recalling information. He infused humor, juggling, and interactive memory games, all the while giving encouragement and sound advice. His methods were strong and clear. He was very well received by students and teachers alike.
