Two hundred eighty-eight students from both Division Avenue High School and General Douglas MacArthur High School were recognized as Advanced Placement Scholars by the College Board for their scores on college-level Advanced Placement exams. These exceptional students represent those from Division Avenue and MacArthur's Class of 2020 and 2021. The College Board recognizes different levels of achievement based on a student's performance on these exams. Some students received more than one title based on their scores.

  • 157 students from both schools were named AP Scholars, receiving scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams.
  • 78 students from both schools were named AP Scholars with Distinction, given to students with an average score of at least a 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
  • 53 students from both schools were named AP Scholars with Honor, earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
  • 13 students from both schools were named National AP Scholars, granted to those who receive an average score of at least a 4 on all AP exams taken and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams.

In addition, 19 students from both schools received the AP Capstone Diploma

and 13 earned the AP Seminar and Research Certificate. The AP Capstone Diploma is presented to students who earn scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar and AP Research and on four additional AP Exams of their choosing. The AP Seminar and Research Certificate is granted to those who earn scores of 3 or higher in both AP Seminar and AP Research.

The Levittown Public Schools congratulates all these students on this outstanding accomplishment.
