Three science research projects were accepted to present at the Middle States Association of American Geographers Conference at Kutztown University, in Kutztown Pennsylvania. The Association promotes the advancement of professional studies in geography, and encourages the application of geographic research in business, education and government. The projects related to educational technology, suburban school safety, as well as perception and utilization of nature preserves. The projects were completed by Isabella Molina, Julia Gizzo, Evan Peters, and Summer Looney. The students are mentored by research advisors Dr. David Friedman and Mr. Matthew Zausin. The constructive criticism offered by graduate students, professors, and researchers will help these young science research students further develop their projects for future submission in various science competitions and possibly for journal publication.
