Levittown Hosts NYSSMA Area 9 Festival

On May 23 and 24, 2017 Levittown hosted the NYSSMA Area 9 Solo and Ensemble Festival at Jonas E. Salk Middle School. 1860 students from our area (East Meadow, Kellenberg, Levittown and Uniondale as well as all of Nassau County for Classical Guitar) were evaluated by NYSSMA adjudicators. Several Levittown Music teachers volunteered to fill rooms where a judge was unable.
The festival yielded 271 Outstanding Medals for Levittown students.
