AP Students Experience Baltimore's Historical Sites
On November 8th and 9th, students from Ms. McCue's Advanced Placement classes from Division Avenue and General Douglas MacArthur High Schools participated in a field trip to Baltimore, Maryland. Students got a taste of the city while touring the Inner Harbor and had the opportunity to see some historical sites along the way. They ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp for dinner and at Miss Shirley T's for lunch. They were given a two hour tour of the Antietam National Battlefieldlearning the details of the bloodiest day in US History. While touring the Inner Harbor, the students had an opportunity to see Fort McHenry, the location where Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner in 1814.
