Police Science/Emergency Management is a two year program which provides students with an opportunity to earn their high school diploma, while preparing students to pursue a career in the public and private safety and security sectors. The curriculum combined with real world application and hands-on activities has been designed to enhance analytical and critical thinking skills, which make our student's both college and career ready.
When you complete this program, you will have the career and technical concepts that will provide an enriched understanding in the fields of police science, FEMA, emergency management, corrections, fire rescue, emergency medical services, Constitutional law, criminal law, search and seizure, arrest procedures, crime scenes, forensics, first aid, CPR/ AED, private security, disaster management, cyber security and other technological advances in the field of criminal justice that will make students successful in college or their chosen field.
Any student who has a criminal record will be ineligible for this course.
