Division Avenue Places 2nd at Envirothon
Division Avenue's Science Research students, under the advisement of Mr. Gerard Marzigliano, earned 2nd Place in Nassau County at the Long Island Envirothon competition. Held at the USDAN Center of Performing Arts, the students worked as a team to answer questions on environmental issues regarding forestry, aquatics, soils, wildlife, and current issues. They also created a presentation on environmental concerns regarding the Western Rangeland Management. Leah Draluck reflected on the event, "I loved working with a team to complete tasks in the environment that we don't get a chance to do in a classroom setting."
Please join us in congratulating Division Avenue's Science Research students!
