College Tests
Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Tests (P.S.A.T.)
Students in grades ten (10) and eleven (11) who plan to take the SAT tests should make arrangements through the Guidance office to take the PSAT tests as early as possible. The PSAT tests are also required for determining eligibility for the National Merit cholarship Competition.
Scholastic Assessment Test (S.A.T.-I: Reasoning Test)
It is the practice of the Levittown Public Schools to offer a comprehensive verbal and mathematical S.A.T. review course to meet students' needs. Course #145/146, S.A.T. Preparation, is offered in each high school before scheduled classes. All students planning to take the S.A.T. tests are encouraged to schedule the S.A.T. Preparation course with their counselors.
Scholastic Assessment Tests II (S.A.T.-II: Subject Tests)
Students in grades ten (10) through twelve (12) are encouraged to take the College Board Achievement Tests in various subject areas. These tests should be taken as soon as possible after completing the appropriate course.
